Whatsapp may roll out a new update in 2023 where You can pin up to five chats at the top of the chat feed. This feature is still in the concept stage means Whatsapp still has to approve this feature to start working on this.

WABetaInfo shared a screenshot on their website showcasing how it will look once the update rolls out. At present, WhatsApp users can only pin three chats on top of their conversation window. This new update offers more convenience by upping that number to five.
As per Wabetainbffo, We have heard from many users who have requested the ability to pin more than 3 chats at the top of their chat list. Considering this, we think it is reasonable to increase the limit for pinned chats up to five.
This new feature will be available on WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Desktop, adding convenience to users by allowing them to keep their most important conversations easily accessible at the top of the screen.
They also said, “We feel that having the option to pin a greater number of conversations is essential for providing users with an improved experience.”
As the volume of chats increases daily, this feature allows them to focus on what’s most important to them. Furthermore, considering larger screens are becoming more common, having a higher limit of pinned chats makes perfect sense.
Raising the limit of pinned chats is necessary to ensure we are meeting the needs of all users now and in the future.
