Twitter started rolling out a new feature called Twitter view count. It means You can see now how many people viewed your tweets.

Quick facts:
- This feature is not yet available for all users, as it needs time to be rolled out effectively.
- This feature is available on both iOS and Android, with web-based capability expected in the near future.
Twitter has unveiled a revolutionary new feature: view counts next to every tweet! With this feature, you can quickly and easily assess the impact of your tweet. How many people have viewed your tweet? How many impressions your tweet got?
This figure reflects the total amount of views a tweet has accumulated across the platform. Twitter owner Elon Musk promised the feature. YouTube also has a similar feature that shows how many times a video has been viewed.
“This is the kind of thing we’ve become accustomed to seeing with videos, and now Twitter has made it possible for anyone to check out how many times a tweet has been seen!” tweeted Elon Musk in excitement. He also mentioned Twitter is far alive than it appears, as a whopping 90% of its users are readers who don’t tweet, reply or like — all public activities!
According to Twitter’s blog post, With this number, users can effortlessly assess the influence of their tweets and those visible on their timelines. The View count is already visible for multiple tweets and will be placed next to the analytics logo on each tweet.
The new views count feature is a revolutionary addition since now everybody can see how many times the content has been seen – not just the account holder.
How to Check Views on Your Tweets

If you’re looking for more in-depth analytics about your tweets than the traditional likes, retweets and quote tweets, then Twitter already has this detailed analytics feature.
Their comprehensive feature provides users with an array of detailed statistics to help better understand their content’s performance.
After publishing something on Twitter, click on “view Tweet analytics” to observe how people engaged with your post. This could include actions like clicking to view your profile or expanding the details of a quote tweet. Knowing who interacted and clicked through can be incredibly useful in determining what content resonates best!
Additionally, you can view the total impressions for your Tweet — that is, how many times it has been viewed on Twitter. The definition of a Twitter view count is not particularly clear since it remains unknown what truly constitutes a tweet to be “seen”.
For those who may not recognize it just yet, reverse app investigator Nima Owji demonstrates how the feature will appear in reality. This appears to be limited only for tweets posted after December 15th.
What is a Twitter View Count Feature?
Twitter view count is a feature that shows you exactly how many times each Tweet has been viewed. Just look for the analytics icon next to every Tweet and check out what kind of reach it had! Understand who’s engaging with your content and what type of posts are resonating best on Twitter by keeping an eye on those view count figures.
Tweet view counts can provide outsiders with an improved understanding of content’s influence on Twitter. In Musk’s opinion, this could stimulate more individuals to join and be involved in Twitter conversations.
Brands and businesses that produce sponsored content can gain invaluable insight into their influence with the help of view counts on the platform. This data will provide them a better understanding of their reach and engagement rate.
If a business wants to identify true influencers within its niche, then it must consider the impressions other people’s tweets receive. This is because mere engagement metrics are not enough to complete the picture.
As previously noted, public view counts can expose accounts that manipulate their engagement and follower figures.

Can you see view counts on Tweets from protected accounts you follow?
It is now possible for the followers of protected accounts to view their Tweet counts! The author always had that capability, but it wasn’t available to others. By unlocking this feature, everyone can take part in seeing how many views a post has received.
