Delete a Retweet on Twitter on Desktop
Deleting a retweet on Twitter on a desktop is easy and simple. All you have to do is follow the steps mentioned below to delete a retweet.
STEP 1: Go to the browser and login into Twitter.com.
STEP 2: In the Twitter left sidebar, select the “profile” option.
STEP 3: Now that your Twitter profile page has opened, find the retweet that you want to delete.
STEP 4: Then click on the three dots in the upper-right section of the page.
STEP 5: This will open a drop-down menu, select the delete option from the menu, and click on it.
STEP 6: The previous step will open a dialogue of confirmation of delete. Click the delete option.
That’s it, your retweet has been deleted and the retweet will not appear on your profile.
Delete a Retweet on Twitter on Mobile
Deleting a retweet on your mobile is as easy as it is on a desktop.
Just follow the steps mentioned below to remove the retweet that you no longer want on your profile.
STEP 1: Open Twitter and login into your account.
STEP 2: In the top left corner of the app, click on the profile icon.
STEP 3: From the menu, click on the profile button.
STEP 4: Now in your profile, find the tweet that you want to delete. Then at the bottom of the tweet click on the Undo Retweet option.
STEP 5: Now you will see a menu at the bottom of your screen, in that menu click on the Undo Retweet option.
The selected tweet will get removed from your profile and you are all set to go.
How to delete all Retweets at once in bulk?
Twitter allows its users to delete their retweets but it only allows them to do it one by one. Twitter doesn’t have the feature to bulk delete your retweets but you can delete your retweets using a third-party website called circleboom.
If you want to delete a retweet, you have to download your Twitter archive and upload it on circleboom. All your retweets can be deleted in bulk by circleboom’s Twitter archive eraser. You can delete them by following the steps mentioned below.
STEP 1: Log in to your circleboom dashboard by authenticating your Twitter account.
STEP 2: In the circle boom menu, click my tweets’ option and then select the delete old tweets button.
STEP 3: You would be directed to another page where you have to upload your Twitter archive (tweet.js).
STEP 4: After your archive is uploaded, you will see an option to select your Retweets, tweets, and replies.
STEP 5: If you want to delete the retweets, then uncheck all the boxes other than the retweet box.
STEP 6: And then click on the Approve button to delete all the retweets in one go.
How to delete a Retweet from someone who blocked you?
Deleting a retweet from someone you blocked is the same as deleting your retweets normally. However, if someone has blocked you their retweets disappear from your profile.
Also, note that the tweet only disappears for the blocked user. It does not block anyone else from seeing the retweet but it will have a vague message about whom the sender chose to share the answer, but anyone else who is not blocked would be able to click on it and find the actual message

Why can’t I delete my Retweets?
There can be two reasons why you can’t delete your Retweet. First, It can be possible that your account is suspended for violating the guidelines on Twitter. You can confirm this by checking the Suspended section on Twitter. And you can get reinstated your account and then delete the retweet.
Second, If It has been a long time since you retweeted that tweet, Twitter won’t let you delete it because it is now considered your social media history.
