On the right side, you will see a long green button that says ‘Upload your video’ and if it is the first time that you are uploading a video on Twitter then for you the button will say ‘Upload your first video’.

8. Click on the button and select a video from your computer to upload. Make sure that you own the rights to the video.
9. Based on the Size and the format of the video, the video will take time to upload.
For a Personal account, the video file size allowed to upload is limited to 512 MB while for a business account it is 1 GB. Twitter currently supports MP4 video format with an H264 format and AAC audio on the mobile application.
Also, take into account the fact that Twitter takes more time to upload videos than any other Social Media platform. When we say upload, that means the video will be available to your account. You still have a few more steps to follow, to post the video as a tweet. For now, the video will be visible only to you in the “Video Section” and will be marked as ‘Not Tweeted’.
Compose and Publish the Tweet

11. Now the dialog box will appear with a few fields to add to your tweet. It will help target the right audience. Below are the fields that you will find on the Compose Tweet dialog box:
- Compose a Tweet (The Tweet body – 140 characters)
- Add title
- Add description
- Add a call to action
12. Once completed filling the information, you can tweet either by Standard delivery or as a Promoted-only.
The Promoted-only is a paid service for that you need to run ads and will let new users see your tweet.
13. Click on Preview and see what your tweet will look like. If satisfied, go back and publish the Tweet.
14. Now, the tweet that you have put together will be out for all your followers to see.
